Ladybug Jewelry

I made my first ladybug jewelry after my sister adopted her first daughter from China. (She has 2 biological children and now 2 little girls from China.) The ladybug has become the symbol of Chinese adoption. I continued making ladybug jewelry when a shop in old town Fredericksburg, called The Ladybug Gift Shop, started carrying my jewelry.

I usually have 3 sizes of ladybug beads and can make earrings, necklaces and bracelets out of any size bead. Here are 2 of the bracelets and 2 different pairs of earrings:

Ladybug bracelet

These ladybugs are the meduim size. The bracelet is made with black onyx and sterling silver beads and a sterling toggle

These are the smallest size of ladybug beads that I have. This bracelet also has sterling silver beads and toggle.

 

Jens Pind ladybug earrings

This pair of earrings uses a chain maille weave called Jens Pind along with incredibly detailed little ladybugs. All sterling silver.
